i dont have any chickens yet but want to know which are good for laying. which breeds would you recomend

thanks thats very helpful. no they arent that important but i would like a few. how many chickens would you recomend i start with?

4 to 6 chickens but at the end of the day its your choise i started with 6 they seem to be verry addictive tho i find my self with lots now . lol    i find hybreeds are best for eggs i get 1 egg a day and thats every day they dont seem to stop laying ha ha . good luck tho and let us no how you are getting on
