new piece of kit
« on: March 17, 2009, 17:41 »
Just thought you would like to share my new piece of equipment for our lottie.
It is an early mothers day pressie from our Beatrix and it is a wind up radio to use  when we are on the lottie. It may not be what you may consider as equipment shed topics but I thought it was a lovely suprise.    Pansy xx

It's just the sort of thing I consider to be one of the most important things in my own "shed" :)

no allotment shed should be without one!
and no batteries to run out in the middle of your favourite program. :D

Wind-up radio = good green sense.... no batteries ;) but I like my small "stick it iin your pocket" model as it has two ear-phones and blocks out all the yabber when I want to listen to Gardeners' Question Time and keep working on the plot.

I do get some odd looks from the neighbours when I argue or laugh out loud at some of the interesting advice given.

I wonder if they do very tiny wind-ups? ???
Never keep your wish-bone where your back-bone ought to be.
