Chook bleeding from vent... eeeek

sometimes they can tear a bit when they lay the egg.
and i think that blood sometimes accompanies prolapse (where the vent turns inside out)

I don't know what else it could be, but someone else will know, i'm sure.

It might be worth bathing the area to get a full idea of where the blood is coming from and if it's still happening.
is she pooing or is it just blood?

if she's not pooing, then it could be something serious.
if she'd still doing it by the end of today, that makes 3 days and i would take her to the vet.

Just another thought. Could she be bullied ?
Might be that she's being pecked.
