I've got a busy sowing day ahead: par-cel, melons, aubergines, heliotrope, ipomoea, peppers, caulis, quaking grass, bunnies tails, sweetcorn, dill, coriander, oregano, mixed leaf crate, Yugoslavian red lettuce.

Yesterday was spent mostly digging over and pulling out couch grass roots but I did manage to sow my wanadoo peas under plastic. The pea seeds have been around the country stored in a bag, a tin, on top of a wardrobe at my parents and then in the spare room at my flat. They have been dormant for over 2 years. I hope some are still viable.

My back seriously aches but I want to do more today.

well this weekend i've repotted the tomato and pepper plants. Sown first batch of courgette seeds, leeks, brussel sprouts and summer cabbage.

Today I'm going to sow some peas undercover, sow beetroot, radish and salad leaves. I am also going to plant my onion sets outside.

Try my best to be Organic but don't always make it

Broad beans planted out. Onion sets in. Early spuds in.

Lettuce sown and up. Cauliflower sown and up. Beetroot sown in cells and up.

Next- Spring onions on the plot.

Still considering when for carrots and parsnips.

So was I, but reading the long range forecast, I think we've got a period of colder wet weather coming in.  :( So I think I'll leave it for a couple of more weeks yet.
You might get away with it in the 'Sunny south' though. :)

Planted garlic, onion sets and red onion sets this morning. Plus a rhubarb crown. My first planting on my plot  8)

Just hope they do okay.

Potatos are chitting nicely and am planning to start various seedlings going soon at home. Seeds going straight in the ground I will probably leave for a week or so yet.

Still got a bed to prepare and a raised bed to make for my strawberrys, which are currently potted up in the garden (will need to get more though).
