Looking for advice from anyone who's grown the said veg, from realseeds.

Does the courgette get any larger than say 1metre square and would two plants be enough.

What was the melon like. I was thinking of 4 plants grown in the tunnel possibly with some outside.

Were the leeks any good?

Can't speak for the first 2 but the blue leeks are good; I've had them in all winter and have been harvesting solidly for months...with plenty to come. They are just starting to thicken up now it is getting warmer and I'll be leaving 5ish to flower to collect the seeds for coming years.

Tondo di Piacenza is quite a large sprawling courgette. The planting instructions from Real Seeds say to plant 3-4 feet apart. My experience is that is the minimum distance you need; I would recommend 5 feet if you can manage it.

I planted that melon last year but sadly it didn't like the spot I chose and promptly died. Have never had that happen with melons before so I'll try again this year in a full sun spot.
Also planted those leeks which have a more purplish hue to the leaves and it's not so huge as other varieties but very nice.

Thank you,

leeks sound good so i'll sow loads and try and save some seed too. Maybe just two courgett plants then and fingers crossed for melons.
