Just another thing to remember is that if you have been feeding them too much fruit like apples or pears  that gives them the runs as well.

Aunty says

The hen who produced this specimen was an older bird who became very thirsty.
She is producing a large amount of watery urates the cause of which is unknown, but could possibly be a kidney problem.

Looks similar ish.

Arrr now I had a chicken that had poos (sorry just coming back to me) and they did look like this one moment I have to try and look for them but I am at work and the photos at home.
She live with me for at least six months (Mr Fox got her) and she could not digest mixed cracked corn.

Same with cross(name of Chuck) Sorry it took a little while for brain to process photo.  Just before she and the rest of the flock got eaten (bar one) I do remember thinking that she did not look too well, but she had had those poos for at least 6 months and was the top chuck. Once I get home I will post photos.  The wife seams to have turned off the pc  and I can not get to it with logmein.com.

Hi Gaz, I was asking for 2 reasons firstly the exbats wont need worming because of the enviroment they were in. Secondly, it is not uncommon for them to have slightly runny poos initially. On the day of release they dont have much chance of eating anything until the following day, so probably their crop will will be relatively empty, any water will go through their digestive system quickly. Plus they will be eating different foodstuffs. So not unusual in the first few days for the ex-bats to have watery poos with only a little food in. Hope this helps! :)
