Watery poo can be caused by overheating. Has their house got plenty of ventilation Gaz ?

It can also be because they're not eatign enough.

Hmm. Maybe the stress of the new surroundings. Somethign to watch for a couple of days and hope they perk up.
Might be some more ideas coming up.

i would say it one of too the over heating and ......The hen who produced this specimen was about 25 weeks old. She went off her food and ate so little she became underweight. She held her tail down and was tired. She may have had worms and/or egg peritonitis.

one of them 2 .. would they have been wormed by the farmer ??

and what does this mean >>>>egg peritonitis.
 thanks

see i dont want to take her to the vets because im new & i may be over reacting and its nothing ,she seems fine though eats and up and down the garden and even we have are off days  & it could all be the change up to now .. this may sound a little sick but is it worth a pic tomoz see what people think on here if she is still the same .

If she's not been eating and has her tail down, she ought to see a vet.

Does she feel warmer than the others (feel under her wing in the 'armpit') ??

If so, she may need anti-biotics. It's unlikely that the farmer would have wormed them but if it's egg peritonitis, she'll need urgent attention, possibly putting down.
It's when a yolk takes the wrong course and instead of going down the oviduct, it ends up in the body cavity causing infection. I've no idea what the outcomes might be so you'll need to see a vet to find out.

The info on worming is here...

http://chat.allotment-garden.org/index.php?topic=4348.0

I use flubenvet which is available from some feed suppliers or online. It is quite expensive but you get enough to dose several hundred birds (if not thousands!).

Is she eatign ok at the moment ?
If not, is her crop (front of the breast) full ? There should be a slight lump just to one side.

If it is empty and she's not eating then she'll suffer from malnutrition and suffer. Keep reporting back and I'll get a couple of other people to keep an eye on this thread too.
