today while cleaning of the perches which are under the roosting bars i found in the poo an small pebble size { about 1 cm by 1/2 } it wass pale yellow an sqaushing like rubber , i so wish i had taken a pic but casuirty { cant spell that ,.lol } got the better of me an i pulled it apart  inside it looked like well the only way to describe it was like a piece of quorn meat that had been cooked { for those who know what quorn is like its similar to chicken so ppl say }i am so puzzled as to what it could be  any ideas anyone ??

it was nothing like  ethier of those pics rob,. it was all smooth like a pebble but with a rubbery texture   ....ok the mind boggles . am kicking myself for not geting a pic

Was it somehting organic, or d'you think it could be something swallowed that had passed through? I know you mentioned quorn texture but I just wondered.

The rubbery bit sounds the same but no idea beyond that.

As long as they're laying and behaving normally, I wouldn't fret too much. If it happens again, post a pic.

tell u the truth i could not tell u if it was soemthing they swolled or something that kinda formed inside one of the girls .... dont worry rob if i see anything like it again the pic will be on here right away. i did delice them this morning with daitom but i cant se that having anything to do with it an yes they are all doing well an still getting 10 -14eggs per day although a few of those eggs have been a bit on the smaller size.
