Fruit Trees at Aldi's Thurs 19th £4.18
« on: February 16, 2009, 14:54 »
Hi, thought some of you may be interested in this latest offer at Aldi's

http://www.aldi.co.uk/uk/html/offers/58_8901.htm

Two year established trees at least 1.2 metres high choice of 15 varieties, sounds great at £4.18  :)

I will go and get some for my lotty but wondered if anyone knew how soon these can be planted or do I need to keep them in the shed until a bit later. Also I really fance growing a Nectarine and Peach and would like to know if they are successful in the UK. I will buy one apple too but is it ok to have just one for pollonation reasons, or will it be ok because there are plenty of other apple trees around the allotment? Thanks
