Buying a shed - HELP!!
I got a metal shed via the internet and put it on my new plot last January.  IIt was good value compared to wooden sheds and is  fine and quite secure but there are some drawbacks:

- it was the world's biggest mechano set to assemble.  You definitely need two people and a good long day plus power screw driver and drill.

- Being light, they have to be very securely fixed to the ground or they'll blow away

- difficult to fix brackets, shelves, etc.

- get very hot in summer.

Nonetheless, I think I'd have another one.

The day after I received the kit through the post, i read in the local paper that the Council was going to offer all allotment holders a free shed!  This was because they are going to make a packet selling some sites off for development.  Needless to say, the free sheds have not appeared.

Best of luck!
