Wilko's have some early potatoes in stock..which ones are slug resistant ?  Pentland Javlin?

Pentland Javelin are one of my favorite earlies.

If you are lifting spuds as "new" potatoes I wouldn't worry unduely about slugs as the small spuds are quite hard.

I'm not saying you won't get one or two, but in general it's when the spud gets older & the flesh softer that you get the problem.

last year my Pentland Javelin were destroyed by slugs (about half useable, 10% undamaged), the Charlotte in the next row were far better, with only 30% damaged and few destroyed.

Kestrel are a pretty good variety for slug resistance.
