Good thinking - I'm doing the same this week-end.

Mine's gone in today, a pinch of seed every 8".
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

And there's me with my specs on down on my hands an knees gently dribbling (not literally) just a few seeds in as I sweep (crawl) along the row... ::)

Sow thinly?  ???

Specs are good for seed sowing - made a mistake the other day with an-out-of-date packet of carrots (2002!!) due to no-specs!  :(

I find cornering difficult with specs - I misjudge distances in busy corridors and have been known to mumble very unrepeatable things in forgeign sounding languages once I've thudded into misplaced a door-frame or stupidly sited post.

I only need mine for reading...and tpiyng and seeing which way up things are and... I can see for miles without them but not a b*o*dy thing close up!!  8)

"It's your age," they tell me as if knowing that helps a great deal.  :tongue2:

Then just don't for goddness sake go out in the drak wearing them... I tell you it's a scary experience   I thought I'd got something seriously wrong with my vision and that was without any 'assistance' from alcohol

"Our" (me and my mate Penny's) problem is that we both buy cheap reading specs off the shelf and then can't remember which pair we have in school. We have several pairs between us, it seems, and they all look similar.  She leaves hers all over the place and then nicks mine and I end up with hers...

Other day I thought my printer had suddenly developed problems and I was having trouble reading size 10 font on the screen....Optician's visit called for?

Penny suddenly swooped into my office and grabbed the glasses off my nose dumping another pair onto the keyboard whilst mumbling something gaelic. Terribly excitable some Scots you know. ::) . Although awfully nice people, of course!

Tried Aberlour... my latest favourite...... rarely drink though but enjoy a dram now and then.
Now, I think... while I read the back of the parsnip packet.  :nowink:

I must do some work for tomorrow....  :(  :(
