I pay about #75 for a full plot in N London, fully fenced, water, toilets in summer, council compost (unless the retired growers who are there all week get it all before the weekend) etc. Seems a lot, but in the area a garden this size would add maybe #50 000 to the price of a house, so #75 for the serviced rent of 50K worth of land is a bargain.

BTW My OH just ordered me a greenhouse as a birthday present. Really excited.

I'm not sure how big my plot is, though it is a good size.

Overgrown with bramble etc, which the Council cleared out for me.

Fenced and secure gated, toilets, small shop and committee 'hut'; free manure, water supply and skips for rubbish.

Just under £50 per annum. (I think that included the price of my key too.)

Looks expensive compared to some of yours (especially the lucky * paying £2.50!), but it looks like I am perhaps better served in terms of amenities; at under a pound a day, I'm not likely to complain!

Hi,

I pay £30 a year including water and some horse manure.  No toilets or anything else.  It measures approx. 7 x 30 m which is a good size.  Not bad in all.  This is near west Drayton, Hillingdon, very close to Heathrow.

£28.50 for a large, full plot incl. association fee. promptly had a bit of my plot nicked so i'm paying over the odds. gated and fenced though of negligible benefit security-wise. water and petty squabbles ad nauseum thrown in. council owned, self-managed, underfunded. fully let out but half the people turn up once in a blue moon.
