sweaty potatoes
« on: January 28, 2009, 10:10 »
Hi have several friends at the indoor bowling club have allotments. we spend many hours exchanging ideas over a pint.  One friend has bought his potatoes from his society. Has done everything he should do putting them in trays and protecting from frost and not to much light. 3 days on they are sweating any ideas.

What is he protecting them from frost with?

If it's polythene or similar, they're likely to as they can't "breath".

Fleece is a better option.

Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
