HI,
I have just become the proud owner of many bags of general purpose compost that has been used as bedding for chickens so is now infused with you know what.(still think horsepooisbest).
What I want to know is what will not grow in it? I plan to dig it in.(when the back, shoulder, forearm, legs & head are feeling better, oh yes and if the ground ever dries out after yet another soaking last night.

I'd compost it :!:

Chicken poo is dead strong yer see  :D

Once left to rot down for a while it will be safer to use anywhere on your plot or garden

Mind you I do put it round my established roses but not touching the stems

Hi CQ,
Many thanks for reply but typical me I only told half the story, sorry.
It is seed and potting compost( Wickes 3for a tenner) that was used over a year ago as bedding for the little darlings so its not fresh its ready to go, or is that grow!
