Hi

a great site.....my first newbie questions are

1. r online suppliers significantly cheaper than garden centres...
2. do the postal delivered plants unduly suffer

Hi and welcome to the forum Clifford 149.  I use both local and mail order plants.  If your ordering mail order make sure you only deal with reputable ones such as T&M.

With regard to costs you need to shop around and make sure that the P&P doesn't make them too expensive.  

When you receive your mail order plants I usually just unpack give them a drink and let them rest for a day and then pot them on....they usually do ok and don't seem to suffer from the post.
