Short and to the point, can anyone recommend a dwarf cauli that is easy to grow? I have never grown caulis before and Mrs STB recently volunteered to make cauliflower cheese if we grow our own :)

I grew a variety a few years ago called "Idol" not sure if it's still out there or not though.

As I remember I didn't have any problems other than them all being ready at the same time which is a problem with caulis.. ,and I left the others a few days and they started to bolt.

So if you get a glut then preserve or freeze any excess as they don't stand long in the ground once they're ready. :D

Avalanche F1 is good for close spacing to give miniature heads and suitable for container growing. Easy to grow. Available from Thomson & Morgan.
