i have bought my firsts, seconds and maincrop tatty seedlings. when do they go in all at the same time or is there an interval i should adhere too? :shock:

If you plant them all the same day then they will bulk up in order earlies, seconds and maim crop.

I like to plant at least some of my earlies really early, about the first week in March in East Anglia. Start chitting them last week in January. They need earthing up to protect from frost and may need fleece if late frosts are threatened. Early potatoes freshly dug in June are wonderful.

The others wait until the soil is warm, usually late March or early April.
