That is very true Aunty all three are in chorus The Three Tenors.  :D  8) There are houses near the lotties but we are allowed to keep them and no one complains :D  

I think anyone buying a house there are informed of the cockerels (or can here them on viewing) and dont really have any right to complain IMO,  just like buying a house next to an airport :shock:  :D  8)

Hallo, I posted in November when I was setting up, but have only now (last week) been able to get some hens. There are just the three - Brodie, Harriet and Penny - they are about sixteen/eighteen weeks old,  from AJR Poultry, Abergavenny.  ISA browns - all that were available at the time, but they do seem like a good (non!) choice. Lovely, friendly, have been able to pick each up from day one - they didn't like it at first but are fine and very easy to handle now - we had to clip their wings on day two, but they're still trying to fly.  Here they're eating porridge with sunflower seeds.
