Hi,

Popped to the lotty yesterday to get a few veggies and check everything is ok and my Rhubarb has disappeared.
All that is left are thesticks that have fallen away and moulded. Is this what happens?

I only planted it in Sept so was only young.

Yep it dies right back in the winter. Clear up the old leaves etc and mulch it with some rotted compost or manure, or even straw. It should grow away nicely in the spring.

Yep as noshed says, it will almost die back without trace until the spring

they all gone to sleep for winter , see them again next april / may,  but for now cover them with compost , leaves , manure
