i think its called tankseal.
i bought some back in the dark ages. worked well.
i think it was advertisied in the classified advert section of "classic bike" magazine.

we got the leaflet beside the bed, tank cure, can't use it on the old tank yet as I'm waiting to use the dremal to get that mullered screw off :cry: . Pity you cant use fibreglass resin any more as the modern petrol melts it :evil:

used it on my triumph toledo last year, had to fibreglass, new fuel tanks are'nt made anymore.
its still ok now after a year.

OH says It will be bunging up the jets as we speak. try a dolomite tank. contact vintage / classic triumph car club they might be able to help, even if it's a close copy.

goes like a rocket, never been a problem.
at the time there were no tanks availiable, and we spung a leak a couple of weeks before going on holiday.
think i will leave it as it is, its not costing me any more money that way, and as it isnt causing me a problem or the other folk i know thats done it as well, i will see how it goes ......
mind you, i could be wrong to do so, only time will tell.
