I  Bit light on recipes (any ideas!!) !

Somerset pork (the short version)

pack of chopped pork, pack of new potatoes, 2  chopped leeks, one chopped onion, 2 chopped carrots, 2 chopped apples, can of cider , crumbled up stock cube, chopped chives, crushed clove of garlic , sprinkle of ginger,  add boiling water until everything is submerged. Cook on low for 5 hours plus ( i bang it on before going to work - ready when i get home) - season to taste and serve.

If you've made to much you can whiz up whats left and reheat as a soup the next day.

All gone from my store now  and we never found them in the online one but I have noticed that Wilko's had a smaller one than mine at a reasonable price but not listed on their online site.

T***o have got an own brand one 3.3ltr £12.97 in their onling catalogue which seems excellent value.

That the one I bought last weekend.  They were flying out the shop.  Best value I could find, inc Wilkcos.  The elecrical shops were charging just silly prices.  50% up on the supermarket for the small stuff.  No wonder they are struggling.

Works a treat too.  Bring things up to heat on high and turn to low for a long slow cook.....    :D
