I've just discovered that theres no apostrophe on the laptop keyboard.

Is it sharing the @ key?..it's been there on all of my three laptops over the years...gotta be there somewhere...maybe on one of your number keys otherwise?

Yes, it must be there, why leave the most misused punctuation mark in the English language off?

I think you are mistaking the cause of scab, I've always understood it to be fresh lime.

I've just discovered that there's no apostrophe on the laptop keyboard.

Where did that one come from

Actually there's three, and DD put them in. ;)
Are you missing a "?" on your keyboard Digger? :tongue2: ;)

Oh! so you put them in DD. I couldn't believe it when I saw them. I've just had a look and yes it does share the @ key, my mistake, I don't normally use the old laptop.
I was just trying it out in the lounge to see if the USB Wireless unit is working in Ubuntu/Linux. It was and found the Router, I typed in the WEP key and it connected, no driver needed.

spuds
the manure should have been dug in the autumn before the potatoes are planted ,

if your planning to grow spuds next spring , you should have 3-4 inches of rotted down manure in the area now

See, I knew where the apostrophe might be, but as for everything else you said - I have no clue.  Apart from the word 'lounge'.  I've heard that one before...
