I finally started my first batch of wine yesterday.
I wish I'd started it sooner now as it would have been nice to have tried it for Christmas. Never mind, it'll be something to look forward to when the anti-climax of Christmas is over.
Anyway, I have a question.
At the top of one of the demi-johns there is a lot of froth (I'm guessing from the yeast), but on the other there is nothing. Is it normal for the froth to be on the top or should I try and mix it in?
