Quite sturdy ones in Tescos at the moment - 3 for £1. Spawn of the devil I know but a bargain.
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

We're quite good at that - go in, hoover the loss leaders and scour the benefits buffet for reduced stuff - then go to the Co-Op for the rest of it on the way home

I got 10 half-seed trays for £3-29 in Sanders Garden World (near Bridgwater in Somerset) yesterday, was quite pleased with that, and my £2.49 onion hoe  8) the nipper chose a bright pink tubtrug for himself, very manly it is too.

Well, there is that!  They had small ones for £3.49 (I've got a big purple one - nice and soft for use in the greenhouse), so I carefully got one out of each colour - they had red, orange, yellow, green, blue, black and pink.  I nearly didn't show him the pink one (evil gender stereotyping mummy that I am), but thought I'd give him a clear choice...    Ah well, it'll balance out his new found obsession with Star Wars and Land Rovers quite nicely.

Very poooooer.  I've always loved Star Wars - the nipper  is only a baby, but on the right track.  He keeps telling me he's Anakin.  Think I'll get him one of the SW Mr Potato Heads - there's an R2 Potatoo one, which he likes!

Wonder if my brother will part with his original SW toy collection...

They've also got 50 litres of compost for 2 quid - so I'm told.

.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Seeds are SOWN, planting's for plants (and bulbs & tubers)!

Did you know that the suppliers pay for the clubcard?  Tesco don't pay a penny.  (I've got inside info from a supplier  )

Not surprised at all, I know they sell the info on as well  there's an old online article about clubcard and the company behind it by the guardian. And how much the clubcard business alone is worth, Makes you think.

I've been using things like the plastic trays mushrooms come in, I find they fit the window sills better than a seed tray.
