I have cut about 2 dozen hazel suckers from the bottom of my tree. They are about 4 - 5foot high - so not tall enough for beans and not twiggy enough for peas - any idea what i could use them for?

well you could plant them and you'd have even more hazel trees.

Or make sure you dry them out properly over winter and use them for flower/plant supports - ie so they don't root.

or decorative - put em in a vase and drape fairy lights on em, or twist and bend en into shapes ie stars, to hang on a Christmas tree or twist and tie them into a circle shape to hang on the door as a wreath and poke laurel, holly leaves berries in. This place sells em for a fair few quid:
