i bought a keter easybuild greenhouse 2 years ago from homebase  for £199, it is 8 x 6 and a metal frame with plastic inserts. a couple of months ago i was washing the inside when 3 of the panels cracked just by me touching them with the sponge. my mum said i should complain but i didn't get round to doing it until the other day i was looking out of my bedroom window and saw that one of the cracked panels had completely fallen to pieces.

anyway i managed to find an email address for them and told them what had happened. i got an email back telling me there had been a faulty batch that weren't uv stable and they are organising me a full refund!! haven't had the cheque yet but i did only email them on thursday.

i was really annoyed about my greenhouse but i have to say their customer service has been excellent and think a few more companies should take a leaf out of their book.

I got a greenhouse from B&Q and a couple of the panes were cracked.

When i complained they said they'd send replacements.

They sent a complete set of glass for just 2 cracked panes.

I've got enough spare glass to build another greenhouse if I could find a cheap frame somewhere.

Have heard some bad feedback about keter....I'm sure it's on here somewhere.
