Just wondering if I've missed the boat on planting now - would I be better to wait and order next year? Also - could I plant them through damp proof course instead of straw, or could I use bog standard weed suppressing membrane
Thanks

Should be able to plant during dormancy all the way through til March? Soak bare roots well before planting and choose a mild spell when ground is not frozen. I've just ordered some Marshmello and intend on getting them in a.s.a.p. so that the roots can develop, without the distraction of top-growth, during dormancy!

Ta slug trap - I know they need summat under them when the fruits are forming, but presumably that doesn't need to happen until the spring?

Thats right, its to protect the fruit from slugs and rot. I use straw
