my girls have been of the antibiotics for 4 days now do u think the eggs could be safe to eat , they took  them for 5 days  .

i hate having to throw the eggs away still, but i do understand i have to be carefull

Personally I wouldn't worry -the manufacturers will normally say 4 weeks -however, they have to really. A vet will say 7 days -unless you are selling them them will be 4 weeks again!
Basicially the withdrawal time is based on trials to assess how much antibiotic residue is left in the egg yolk and over what time period, and then they add a bit extra on to make absolutely sure. :D
However with all these coughs and colds you'd be better off eating the eggs! :shock:
