looking for some good books or websites for distinguishing between chicken breeds as I have found this a bit tricky.

As nearly all breeds have different colour varieties like barred, mottled, porcelain etc plus the confusing buff etc.

what is it you are trying to find.

choosing and keping chickens by chris graham is a nice book for showing breeds. and if you look about at some garden centres you can pick it up for £5 instead of the cover price £12.99

I would agree but cannot tie myself to one bird sorry....
I've looked for Poland in Ireland with no success yet just Polish workers  :lol:  :lol:  they are gorgeous birds and I am quite envious love the head gear. So if anyone knows of them in Ireland please let me know will travel the country for them.

Brilliant if your on hol's over here I'll meet up anywhere for some eggs or can they be posted or would the shaking damage the egg even if the shell wasn't cracked.
