Am I too Late?
« on: November 07, 2008, 08:19 »
I brought some over wintering onions which I haven't had chance to put in yet. Managed to get the garlic in and then it lashed down so had to down tools.
IF and thats a big IF, as we've been forecast more rain, I can get them in this week-end am I going to be too late? Will they keep ok until next year if I am? Thanks

They won't keep, they'll sprout in the bag & die.

Only option is to get them in - they'll be OK, most of the growth is in spring.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Thanks. Here's hoping for a dry patch this week-end then. A few of them have already sprouted in the bag. Should I disgard these or can they go in too?
