How can you tell the girls and boys...

My Buffs are 21 weeks and I still haven't the foggiest  :evil:
With others unless they are colour sex linked I think it's just a case of watching the combs to see how they develop :?
Trouble is even some females have the odd sparing match so even that doesn't make things definite
The 2 week old has some lovely colour on his/ her wings

There are two definate differences between the latest chicks, 2 weeks old tomorrow.  Two have started to get feathers on their tails, wings and shoulders, whilst the other two only have a few proper feathers on their wing tips.  Is it likely that this is any sex indicator?  Someone told me that females develop their tail feathers earlier than males, but I don't know if there's any truth in this.

I'd post a pic or two but the little blighter won't stay still long enough for that kind of detail
