My New chook house
« on: November 03, 2008, 20:59 »
Well having had the ok to have chickens in the back garden and with having to get rid of my sons bunk bed I have built this out of it it is 6 foot long and 6ft high.

It is a work in progress and needs felting, I have put on a clear plastic roof so as to get the maximum sunlight in these winter months. I have to keep them locked up until Friday when I can get some fencing to keep them nice and safe. I decided to keep them at the house over the winter rather than the allotment as I recon they would be better off here as the night are long and there is more time for Mr fox to worm his way in.

Chooks all settled
