That can't be right??????  My chickens & ducks are far more intelligent    sorry woody we love you really it's just god didn't give setters a brain just a lump where it should go

We often say that our Millie (cocker spaniel)must of been dropped on her head as a pup cause she is soooooo daft!  she has never mastered walking on a lead and drags us everywhere! Gets so excited when we take her to the beach that she poos every 10 seconds (well thats what it feels like) and uses the laminated floors in our house as a race track (very funny when she tries to go round corners  ) but we love her :D
thinks her guardian angel`s gone on strike !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Jelly, I can usually spot a Beardie or a Briard from a long way away!

We won't be getting our chooks until next Spring and it will be interesting to see how our Beardie takes to them.  We used to walk past a free ranging flock on a walk when he was younger and he'd ignore them completely but when a pheasant wanders into this garden he considers it his duty to chase it away - which is tricky when you are very old, got serious arthritis in one hip and off to the vet tomorrow for an X-ray to see just how bad the problem is

Well I thought I had the thickest cat in the world (I know, I know, cats aren't stupid, thats what dogs are for  ). In a year he hasn't learnt once to slow down on the flooring and hits the wall every time  . But he has recently shown the ability to play and his first intelligence. It's a great game. He carries a golf ball to the top of the stairs and drops it down the stairs onto the wooden floor, chases it down, catches it and then carries it back up again and starts all over again.

And I would be delighted to share Foxy, thank you.  Trouble is, I'm one of those pesky Newbies who hasn't yet worked out how to attach/include an image.

Please could someone point me in the direction of whoever was patient enough to explain it simply for the last new member who asked?

For Chickenlady, here are my two. Tess is my old girl (the dark tortoiseshell) and Oliver who is three.

And this is Oliver, fearlessly (ok with only a little bit of fear) hunting a bumblebee)

I know I've posted it a million times but it's my fave pic!
