I've made 6 big jars of apple jelly and IT HAS SET PROPERLY!!

Looks lovely too - all reddy-golden and mysterious looking.  I can't wait to get stuck in sometime around February.

Never made it before.  Bit involved but what a thrill when you see the jars all lined up.

Brings my total of jam, chutney and jelly to 79 jars so far this year!

Hi there, made some Chilli Jelly a couple of months ago and it has all gone it was that good. Then made some Mint Jelly that was very good but could have been a bit stronger. Am trying to get some beetroots to pickle but cannot find any. Don't know why you are waiting till February to try yours, have I done something wrong trying it now. Help.
My memory isn't as sharp as it used to be, also my memory isn't as sharp as it used to be

Same here. Jams and Jellies can usually be used near enough immediately. Chutneys are better left to mature as the prevalent taste tends to be vinegar if they aren't kept for a while.

There's one here Apple Jelly. Also one for Apple & Rosemary Jelly Apple & Rosemary Jelly.
Got any ideas what I can do with these pumpkins.  Soup, ok, but not going to use enough and once I cut into them will need using up pretty quickly. Cake, possibly, chutney - got that much that it's coming out of my ears!
