CABBAGE ROOT FLY~ QUESTION!!

Do you have to protect against cabbage root fly during the winter months?
I have just put the discs around my spring cabbage and then thought that maybe I dont need to do it!

Not if its realy cold jazzbyrd but it won't hurt with the collars anyway.
