When will they lay????????

We bought some white Jersey giants and some rhode island reds at 5 weeks old. We now think they're around the 26 week mark and they are showing no signs of laying. Does anyone have any idea if these breeds take longer to lay or could it be the cold weather? Or any other suggestions would be appreciated.

hi foggle, as the days get shorter, they dont get enough daylight to form a eggie.

so you may find that you dont get any till spring.

any you get between now and then class as a bonus and enjoy.

and white jersey giants... im so jealous, will we be seeing pics soon
