Thanks to all for the advice yesterday with the fighting chickens. We survived the night although I didnt manage to get them back together in the hen house - too much agro so the damaged one spent the night in the run in a borrowed rabbit hutch. Bit more purple spray this monring and put her in the house before we let the other two out and so far so good. THere is a lot of posturing and the odd pecking incident but not with the ferociousness of yesterday- more like pecking order squabbles so will just keep an eye on them. Gizmo - the damaged one - now sports her purple punk hairdo with pride so maybe its a bit of jealousy!!!
