This is what i've managed.

In the store cupboard ... blackberry jelly, honey, semi-dried tomatoes in herb oil, onions, dried chillies, dried lemon thyme, sage, oregano, mint sugar,

In the freezer ...roast garlic tomatoe puree/sauce, peas, gooseberries, redcurrents, raspberries.

In the garden...leeks, parsnips, brussels sprouts, PSB. Oh and eggs!

I'm impressed with my list, to be fair, not everything is in large enough quantities but the satisfaction is fantastic!!

I'm already making my plan to increase my hoard for next year.

Would love to find out what people have hoarded, to pick up a few ideas.
Liv.

Can't wait for next year.

I have loads of beans (frozen) and still more on the plants plus have made persimon jam (but the texture is more like a curd), plum jam and today have had my first go at marmalade made with slightly underripe juiceing oranges(tastes good). And this from a garden that came with the house I bought 3 weeks ago.

Need to buy a freezer quickly as have lots of persimons, oranges and pomegranates ripening despite the rain.

Helen :)

In the freezer:
broad beans
sweetcorn
celery
tomatoes (whole)
peppers
psb (from spring - I had a lot more than I expected)
raspberries & currants (red & black - will make jam later)
some chard/perpetual spinach ready blanched to pop into stewy dinners

In the fridge:
cucumber
turnips
beetroot
conference pears

In storage:
marrows
squash/butternut/pumpkin
garlic
Sturon & Red Baron onions (still ploughing through the Jap onions yet   )
shallots
potatoes (should see me through to January-ish)
Bramley apples
gooseberry jam
plum jam
Jerusalem artichokes

In the ground (some to harvest very soon & freeze or dry - have no freezer space left :(  or left in the ground to harvest as & when):
carrots
parsnips
leeks
cabbage (red cabbage for winter/autumn cabbage to pick soon)
brussels
kale
swede
some apples still not ready on the trees
chillis to pick tomorrow

        8)

I am particularly proud of this year - my 1st year's crops (just summer fruiting veg) on the big plot (I took it on last year) have been great.  And the half plot (had it 3 years) has been providing all the basic stuff while I was still digging the big plot over.  Also, the fruit trees, bushes & canes in my garden are now into the their 6th year so are getting established enough for me to start boasting.  So it came together just nicely.  It is my intention never to buy another supermarket veg if I can help it, and I think I'm starting to achieve that goal
