Retired because of disability, but OH works full time.  Spend all weekend and all holidays on the plot and I get there on my mobility scooter as and when I can.  We go to the plot most evenings though as OH works from 6.45am to 3.15pm.
ALLOTMENTNUT. GROWING EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING.  JUST GIVE IT ALL A TRY!!!!

Work full time as a miner.
Coach kids rugby, Tuesday and Thursday.
Coach adults rugby on Wednesday.
Referee adults and / or kids Saturday and Sunday.
Fit the lottie in round that lot. fortunately it's on the way to and from most of those so it's easy to pull in a hour here and there.

wow Bignij

it's true "if you want to get something done ask a busy person"

My Dad, bless him, is retired fit and healthy but only seems to manage one task a day, after six months he still hasn't gone to get an Argos catalogue that he's been wanting, I say to him "why not" he says "well we do the food shop on Thursday and the grandchildren are coming for tea on Friday"  he doesn't even have to cook the tea, my Mum does it !!! Love him to bits but it doesn't half make me giggle

At least I rescued his greenhouse that had been unused and near derelict for 10 years  :D

I work full time although it is a 4 on 4 off shift so get quite a lot of time to go over the lottie.
Roses are red, violets are blue, sugar is sweet, and so are you.
But the roses are wilting, the violets are dead, the sugar bowl's empty, and so is your head.

I work part time at a boarding kennels and cattery (16 hours per week). My OH is a self employed artist. I get to spend quite a lot of time in my garden if I want to, but I am slowly recovering from ME so I have to take it steady.

I work full time and now the light is fading by home time which is a shame so things are going to need to slow down over winter. My trade is video games designer and we have another allotmenteer in the office but he is an animator so I dont get to speak to him much :)

I'm a full-time journalist and my husband is a full-time accountant so we get up to our allotment when we can. I'm currently nursing sore stomach muscles after overdoing it on the allotment at the weekend! No pain, no gain!

Full time scientist complete with white coat and goggles.  Fit in the allotment in between training for a half marathon and swimming for a local club!  Love going down to the lottie to have a good dig at the weekends - it's sooo relaxing.

I'm a stay at home domestic goddess.  Not strictly an allotmenteer tho as veggie patch is at bottom of garden. which has its own pros and cons.  Try to sneak out and do my veggie jobs whilst 1.5 yo son is sleeping, ignoring the cooking, cleaning, washing blah di blah etc that I should be doing instead!
Thoughts lead on to purposes; purposes go forth in action; actions form habits; habits decide character; and character fixes our destiny
