What to clean rotovator with to avoid club root?
« on: October 20, 2008, 18:37 »
Our site has a heavy duty rotovator that you can 'hire' for a nominal fee.

Apparently one bloke uses it on his plot (that has nothing but weeds on it) when he gets a warning but never cleans it!

He and the allotment committee are well aware that his plot has club root and his actions have passed it on to other plots!!!

My Mum and Dad want to borrow the rotovator but do not know what to clean it with before using it. They don't want to ruin their plot!!  :?

Any advice for them?
(PS the thoughless bloke is being evicted at long last!!!)

No amount of time can erase the memory of a good cat, and no amount of masking tape can ever totally remove his fur from your couch.

I could give up chocolate but I'm not a quitter.

I'd wash it down very well with Jeyes fluid.
