Sulphur burner?
« on: October 14, 2008, 09:15 »
Hi all

hubby has just suggested that if we ever got red mite (no sign yet thank goodness) would a sulphur burner get rid of them?

The theory would be to let the chooks out in a morning, seal off the vents in the coop, set the burner off in the coop, leave it for a couple of hours then take it out and air the coop for the rest of the day.

Has anyone tried this or would the coop not be aired quickly enough to get the chooks back in at night?

RR

Hi RR, I was thinking about this myself yesterday, but I'm afraid I don't know the answer.  Knowing our luck, nothing can be that easy!!!
