hi dont know if someone can help but ive just had a text saying one of my chickens are poorly.

the text said the comb is very pale compared to the others and normal, and she has her eyes shut most of the time.

its not standing or walking much and its lobobbing about off to one side.

thats all i know i havent seen it


does anyone know anything or have any ideas?

Best thing you can do Nathan is go have look at her and a pic or two would say a thousand words  :D  check her o verfor mites etc and also under her perch.  :)

sorry about your hen, have you any further ideas what it could have been? from the point of view of preventing the others succumbing if its an infection or something?
how old was it?
was the onset sudden or had it been off colour for a while?
how long had you had her/
etc etc

with regard to disposal, i bury mine but obviously thats not always possible....if i remember correctly you are allowed to wrap it and put it in the rubbish?
there was a long thread on here very recently, i think it was just headed disposal


fingers crossed the rest are ok  :)

shame but im no vet so have no idea what was wrong with her, only one wyandotte left now.

still got 3 pekins and 2 chicks a broody hatched from family members eggs
