well at least you didnt poison it!
so apart from being a bit damp hopefully it will rebuild its bed
it sounds too small to hibernate though, now you will have to adopt it and feed it catfood lol

does that explain the loopy chicken tho?

lol iv put food down for it and the greenhouse is warm so should be ok

an no i think he just had a loopy day lol

Hopefully, next time you will properly identify something before you try to kill it NP.

maybe you might be better off taking to a local hedgehog rescue place? They will know exactly how to care for him/her.

That's a good idea Foxy.

They need to be 600g at this time of the year to survive the winter hibernation.   That little chap will die if he's not kept indoors and warm and well fed over winter.

So it's a good job you found him NP, but don't just leave him where he is !

Good luck with keeping the little mite alive over winter NP, keep him in your greenhouse if you can if it's heated! Nice and warm and all the slugs and snails get scoffed for free. Again i hope you can raise enough cash soon to move... possibly take the mite with you if need?

Cat food is what he needs I think but if you contacts Foxy's link they will be able to advise you or better still collect him from you.
