the problem my light sussex cock had

do you all remember when he went loopy and attacked me

well upon cleaning out the g/house getting ready to Finnish repairs

there was this sound coming from the back of the greenhouse
i could not see anything i thought at first it was the two RIR that are in the greenhouse with me

they come in and eat all the spiders

anyway had abit more of a look and there is this RAT living under a slab

i HATE rats so rat trap going in i kill the thing

but that must have been the prob i didnt know it was there
looks like its been there some time by all the old bags its dragged down the hole

Getting rid of that rat(s) is going to keep you busy for while  :)

But I think it's only one part of the cockerel problem. All the other things would have contributed too.

Any photos of the nest ?

i feel really bad i thought if i flood the nest it mite go away

but to my horror i didnt flood a rats nest i flooded and baby hedgehogs nest

its very small no more than 4 inches from bum to nose

so iv put some dry straw down so it can rebuild its nest
and in fact its doing that right now

i feel really bad now

well at least you didnt poison it!
so apart from being a bit damp hopefully it will rebuild its bed
it sounds too small to hibernate though, now you will have to adopt it and feed it catfood lol

does that explain the loopy chicken tho?
