Just put a slideshow together for my year of veg growing  and my giant onion disaster.

It's amazing how successful you can make a bad year look if you leave out all the disappointing photos.

The camera never lies ........NOT !!..

Click the SLIDESHOWS link if you want to have a look. :D

May I ask, in the photos, what is it that has a sort of protective cage around its base?

And I am now sat in dreamland wishing that one day I may own an allotment and have such a successful yield as what you have clearly had there!

Oh that'll be the anti mouse pea protector.

I sow the peas and then bury a length of 10mm metal mesh over them and it's the only way I can stop mice digging my peas up.

Then the peas just grow up through the holes in the mesh.

IT works Wahey !!!!!....

That's great!  I really enjoyed that. That's a good idea, taking the pics successionally so you get a seasonal view. I shall try and do that next year :D  Lovely veggies you got there  :D

This time next year I will have photoshopped all my photos to remove the weeds and dead leaves and bugs and all nasty stuff and then post em here (with a duplicated mile of peas just for DD :-) )

Just kidding Dan, your plot is Superb with a capital S, and I am so jealous! I wish I could do it anywhere near as well as you.

Giant onion disaster maybe Dan, but Id have been happy with your medium ones. I am definately going to have a go at the big ones in the next couple of years though, it'll be good fun (until I fail)

Just wish the phone would ring so we could get our hands on a plot. I am doing my best in pots and spare soil in the garden but its just not the same  :(

I really enjoyed watching that. All that hard word definately pays off.
Loved the curley cucumbers

There are three signs of old age. The first is your loss of memory, the other two I forget.

I am with you their Beetroot queen, I have an old shoe cabinet (basically 4-tier stand) with as many pots on it that i can fit, and two mini greenhouses full to bursting :S

We have no 'garden' only crazy paving, and it's rented so we can not pull the paving up and have a garden.

RING ME!!! I want a Lottie!  :(

Great allotment, well done.
Did I see a ladder in one of your pictures and is it to aid planting from.
I have a old ladder in my garage and may give it a go if my guess is correct.
I'm lost without my SatNav.
