Finished plants....???
« on: September 26, 2008, 08:21 »
My courgette plants have now stopped growing fruits for a while & there are also remains of sugar snap peas on my netting etc.....I'm hoping to put down some green manure soon so wondered what do you do with the old plants that have stopped producing? dig them in? pull them up & compost?... :?:

I've got piles of courgette and squash foliage on my plot, which I'm waiting to slump before I can add it to my already full compost bins. It slumps by about a third.  It'll compost just fine  :D
