I have more duck eggs than I need... despite using them in cake making (lovely) what is the going rate to sell them? thanks

at morrisons 6 free range snowy campbell white duck  eggs are £2.35 a friend just gave us some, I am not sure how to use them. any ideas would be welcome

And you can buy organic free range ones for £3.50!!! :shock:   That's for half a dozen!!!

As to using them, you can use them for anything you would use chicken eggs for and they are fab for baking

Fabulous sponge cakes ...weigh the eggs in their shells, then same amount of self raising flour, sugar and margarine...scrummy.  I usually use four eggs which is usually around 300gmsish .... It makes a lovely oblong cake of 24 portions (yes lots of coffee mornings here).

Just thinking of taking some eggs to coffee morning tommorow, havn't got a lot spare but thought of selling them individually as sometimes people just want the odd one or two for a ommlette.
