... How are your cat litter tray leeks getting on?
Growing salad leaves isn't rocket science.

:(  they didn't make it, I forgot to water them and then the hens found them so I chucked what was left, shame because they where coming along quite nicely.
Hows yours ??

Fatastic! About two feet plus tall, and looking really good. Tomatoes were disappointing, only one aubergine (!) and Romanesco destroyed by caterpillars. But the leeks are my pride and joy!

Cheers. I'll be doing the same again next year - sort of March April time.

I've way too many Tom's this year they went mad in the G'hse, turning the last of the ripe ones into relish or chutney  :)

I'll try the leeks again next year to.

I'm assuming cat litter as a water holding addition to soil. because I know thats what they use for oil spills, etc.
Graham = 2x Border collie Dogs, 2x Cats, 1x Wife, 2x Kids, 2x Hamsters and now 10x chickens.
