Garlic

I stuck 2 little cloves in my flowerbed about mid-june time (never grown them before, and they were only my supermarket ones)
I have read a few threads on harvesting, but mine are still in the ground, with nice tall green leaves and quite thick at the neck.
Should I lift them now, or let them go on a while :?: :?: Ta. Mrs Bouquet

Scrape some soil away from the plant and have a look at how big the bulb is.
If it's still small then just leave it if it's big enough then pull it up.
